Galapagos trip report

On March this year we assembled a wonderful group and spent a few days in Santa Cruz Island in the Galapagos. We visited white sand beaches, the Charles Darwin Research Station, lava tunnels, the highlands, a lagoon, Santa Fe Island. We snorkeled, kayaked and did plenty of walking too. The weather was hot and sunshine very prevalent.

We visited the Santa Cruz Gardens site. The sign at the entrance to the road leading to the site was being erected. The roads leading to the site had been smoothed and the road at the front of Santa Cruz Gardens widened. Nonetheless, there was very little advancement in the site itself. Currently the roads are about 80% complete. For me it was as important as showing the SCG site (however raw at the time), to visit the multiple sites and attractions the Island has to offer so the lot owners and other trip companions would get a feel for things in Santa Cruz.
